Date #2 and A Consideration Proposal
Yesterday, Cookie was in my neighborhood and since I told him we could still hang out just as friends, he took the opportunity to stop by and hang out. It was interesting to see him and not have the same feelings for him. They were really gone. I guess it really is true that you have to meet someone new to get over someone old. Anyway we hung out, played video games, chatted, and then on his way out of course, he said that he wanted one last kiss and wanted me to consider something. He said that in five years if we are both single, he thinks we should get married. Um….really? Is this supposed to turn me on? Because if that’s what you want, you better start fighting for me NOW, bi-atch! I think this is his way of trying to keep a five year hold on me, even if its on the backburner. I told him, fine, that I would consider it. I mean, at 35 and single, I just might. Who knows.
Anyway, today I had 2nd date with Weedguy. It wasn’t as magical as the first night, but I’m kind glad that it put my feelings in check and perspective. Just like any new hobby, I get easily excited and obsessed but then tire of it after awhile. I didn’t want the same thing to happen here so I am pacing myself and trying to get to know him well before I buy any stock in him. What I have learned is that he is a great texter, and knows the right things to say to me. Anyway, we have date three on Wednesday, and he is going to meet some friends of mine b/c we are going to one of my friend’s music performances.
